Your Teaching is currently recruiting passionate and dedicated Primary and Secondary Teachers to join a range of welcoming and supportive schools across Kent. We are working with a number of partner primary and secondary schools seeking qualified teachers across a variety of year groups and subject specialisms. Opportunities are available for immediate starts and September 2026, with both long-term and permanent positions available. Schools are keen to meet experienced teachers who can demonstrate excellent classroom practice and are looking to arrange observation lessons and interviews as soon as possible.

About the Role

  • Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where pupils can thrive.
  • Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs.
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour, attendance, and achievement.
  • Differentiate learning to support pupils of varying abilities, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, parents, and carers to maximise pupil outcomes.
  • Contribute positively to the wider school community.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Previous experience teaching within a UK primary or secondary school.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
  • A proactive, professional, and adaptable approach.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Desirable

  • Experience teaching within EYFS, KS1, KS2, KS3, KS4, or KS5.
  • Subject specialism for secondary teaching.
  • Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new school environments.
