Your Teaching is currently recruiting for two excellent Primary Teacher vacancies at a highly regarded and supportive primary school in Croydon. We are seeking:

  • KS1 Teacher (Year 2)
  • KS2 Teacher (Year 6)

About the Role

As a Primary School Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing pupil progress, and creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and development.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Creating an engaging and inclusive classroom environment
  • Assessing, monitoring, and reporting on pupil progress
  • Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively and promoting positive attitudes to learning
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
  • Supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
  • Contributing to the wider life of the school community

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Recent experience teaching within a UK primary school
  • Experience teaching within either KS1 or KS2
  • Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to plan, deliver, and assess lessons effectively
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Valid DBS on Update Service needed (or willing to obtain)
  • Must be available full-time (5 days a week)
  • Previous primary school teaching experience is essential. These positions are not suitable for candidates without classroom teaching experience in a UK primary school setting.
