We are seeking a highly experienced, compassionate and dedicated Registered Care Manager (Health & Social Care Level 5 qualified) to oversee our two dedicated purpose-built Supported Living sites. As the Registered Care Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of both services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care to enhance the residents' quality of life and drive service excellence. You will bring both strategic thinking and hands-on leadership to the role.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background and experience of working with individuals with Mental Health diagnoses, Learning Disabilities, Autism, forensic histories, and also Behaviours that challenge (physical and verbal). The successful applicant will be committed to maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and personalised care plans, fostering a warm and supportive environment for residents and staff alike.

Duties
  • Lead and manage both sites, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and legislation.
  • Build the service - taking on new referrals and ensuring smooth transition.
  • Develop, implement, and review personalised care plans for residents, including specialised Risk management and PBS plans.
  • Undertake audits, develop, follow-up & ensure completion of action plans.
  • Manage rotas, budgets, and resources effectively to deliver a safe service.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with clients, families, staff, commissioners, and external professionals.
  • Drive continuous improvement through feedback, data analysis & quality.
  • Supervise and support staff members, providing leadership, training, and performance evaluations to promote a motivated team environment.
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety.
  • Ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Carry out/lead on investigations, safeguarding and notifications as required.
  • Promote a positive organisational culture centred on compassion, dignity, and respect for all residents and staff.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Hold a Health & Social Care Level 5 qualification or higher.
  • Proven experience managing or supervising within a care home or supported living environment.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and inspection processes.
  • Experience liaising with Commissioners, Stakeholders, and Local Authorities.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Full UK Driving licence is essential and access to own vehicle.
  • In-depth knowledge of supporting people who have forensic history.
  • Competence in developing and implementing detailed care plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and compliance procedures.
  • Compassionate approach with excellent communication skills for engaging residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
