YourStudio is a dynamic strategy and creative agency specialising in next-generation experiences and environments for global brands. With studios in London, Melbourne, New York and LA, we work supportively as one global team to deliver award-winning experiences that are recognised globally.

We are looking for a Senior 3D Designer who pairs conceptual thinking with executional excellence. You will be passionate about translating brands into the built environment — creating compelling, emotive and ownable retail spaces and experiences. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll bring big ideas and translate these into tangible solutions that drive human connection — designed to captivate, connect audiences, and shape culture.

You will bring a deep understanding of retail design fundamentals and have the skills to bring retail spaces to life with experience, service and storytelling – seeing these ideas through from concept to delivery.

You're a curious designer with an experimental mindset and strong eye for detail. You thrive in collaborative environments, iterate quickly, and have a genuine passion for creating memorable retail experiences that spark emotion and connect with people.

What You'll Do

  • Translate Ideas into Compelling Design: Transform concepts into powerful design outputs, applied into the built environment — from sketches and narratives to 3D visuals and motion-led storytelling that bring ideas off the page and into physical space.
  • Execute on the Detail: Develop detailed design solutions – bespoke retail fixture systems, 2D detail drawings packs and material specifications, ready for hand-off to build partners. Oversee and troubleshoot during on-site build, ensuring design intent is delivered.
  • Collaborate Across Disciplines & Time Zones: Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to push ideas, iterate fast, and refine concepts with confidence. Use Figma/Miro as part of a collaborative global workflow, helping connect ideas seamlessly across teams and geographies.
  • Experiment with Technology & Innovation: Explore how AI and emerging technologies can enhance storytelling, immersion, and shareability in physical environments. Push the boundaries of what's possible when creativity meets innovation.
  • Present with Clarity & Conviction: Communicate your ideas confidently—whether in internal workshops or client meetings. Create visuals and presentations that articulate creative thinking with precision and emotion.
  • Create Spectacle: Design experiences that don't just exist in space—they transform it. Uphold YourStudio's creative principles: anchor in an idea, design for emotion, say more with less, use your imagination, and commit.

What you'll bring

  • 5–8 years of experience in retail environments, experiential design, brand activation, or spatial storytelling.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates conceptual depth and craft in translating big ideas into memorable physical spaces and experiences.
  • A deep understanding and appreciation of materials, fabrication processes and the exploration of storytelling through detail.
  • Strong storytelling, visualization, and presentation skills—confident moving between sketches, storyboards, and 3D visuals.
  • Proficiency in Figma/Miro for collaborative design.
  • Ability to hand sketch.
  • Proficiency in Cinema 4D for 3D modelling and rendering.
  • Proficiency in Vectorworks for 2D drawing production (+3D modelling desirable).
  • Experience using AI-assisted and generative tools as part of the creative process.
  • A hands-on, experimental approach—open to collaboration and confident iterating ideas quickly.
  • A desire to create work that defines culture and leaves a lasting impression.

What we offer

  • A competitive salary, available upon request, plus our benefits package, which includes:
  • We value culture and collaboration, for this reason we operate a 3 day in the office and 2 day WFH hybrid working policy.
  • Generous holiday allowance, including 25 days plus bank holidays, a well-being day, 2 community days and your birthday off! Alongside additional extra service allowance (pro-rata for fixed-term contracts).
  • Private Healthcare.
  • 2 week Working Abroad Opportunity.
  • Opportunities to work from our global studios whilst travelling.
  • Dedicated learning platform.
  • Enhanced parental leave policies.
  • Lunch club, Thursday office drinks, Summer and Christmas parties.
