We are seeking a passionate, patient, and dedicated SEN Tutor to support children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) across South East London. This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced tutor, teacher, teaching assistant, or SEN professional who is committed to helping learners build confidence, develop key skills, and achieve their full potential.
The Role
You will provide high-quality, personalised 1:1 tuition to pupils with a range of additional needs, including:
- Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC/ASD)
- ADHD
- Dyslexia
- SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs
- Moderate Learning Difficulties
- Speech, Language and Communication Needs
Sessions may take place in the learner's home, school, community setting, or online.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, individualised lessons
- Adapt teaching approaches to suit each learner's needs
- Build positive relationships with pupils and families
- Monitor progress and provide feedback
- Support learners in developing confidence, independence, and academic skills
- Maintain accurate session records
Essential Requirements
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN
