About Your Retreats Ltd

Your Retreats Ltd is a growing UK manufacturer of high-quality modular homes and luxury lodges.

As our production continues to grow, we are looking to build relationships with experienced and reliable roofing subcontractors to join our manufacturing team.

We are looking for skilled roofers who have experience working on modular buildings, lodges, timber-frame structures or similar construction projects .

The Role

You will be responsible for completing roofing works on modular homes within our manufacturing facility, ensuring each roof is completed to a high standard and ready for final inspection and delivery.

The work will include

  • Installation of
  • EPDM roofing systems
  • Installation of
  • XL shingle / tiled roofing systems
  • Preparing roof surfaces prior to installation
  • Installing roofing membranes and associated trims/details
  • Installing battens and roofing components where required
  • Installing XL shingles/tiles to manufacturer specifications
  • Detailing around roof edges, penetrations and roof features
  • Ensuring correct falls, drainage and weatherproofing
  • Carrying out finishing and remedial works where required
  • Working from drawings and project specifications
  • Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
  • Working safely and keeping the work area clean and organised

What We're Looking For

The ideal subcontractor will have

  • Proven experience in
  • EPDM roofing
  • Experience with shingle, tile or XL tiled roofing systems
  • Previous experience working on modular homes, lodges, timber-frame buildings or similar
  • Ability to work from drawings and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail
  • High standards of workmanship
  • Good understanding of waterproofing and roof detailing
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider production team
  • Good timekeeping and reliability
  • Own tools and appropriate PPE
  • Relevant insurance for subcontracting work

Desirable

  • Experience within a factory-based modular manufacturing environment
  • Experience working with
  • SIP panels or timber-frame construction
  • Roofing qualifications or manufacturer-approved training
  • CSCS or relevant site competency certification
