The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of joinery and finishing works across our luxury lodge builds, ensuring every project meets the high standards that our customers expect from the Your Retreats brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation and fitting of internal and external doors.
- Fitting timber, composite and feature cladding systems.
- Installation of windows and external openings.
- Roofing installation and associated timber structures.
- First fix joinery including stud work, floor structures and roof carcassing.
- Second fix joinery including skirting, architraves, ironmongery and finishing details.
- Kitchen fitting to a high standard, including appliance integration.
- Measuring, fitting and scribing bespoke wardrobes and storage solutions.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Maintaining exceptional standards of quality, finish and site organisation.
- Working independently and as part of a skilled team to meet production schedules and deadlines.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Joiner or Carpenter.
- Competent in all aspects of first and second fix joinery.
- Experienced in fitting kitchens, wardrobes and bespoke furniture.
- Ability to scribe and fit to a premium finish.
- Experience with doors, windows, cladding and roofing installations.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work from drawings and technical information.
- Positive attitude with excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
