As a Bench Joiner, you will be responsible for assembling and building timber products such as furniture, kitchens, and cabinets ensuring they meet high-quality standards. You will play an important role in the success of our construction projects by using your technical skills and attention to detail to ensure finished products are both functional and visually appealing. Responsibilities:
- Working through our company playbook to build fitted furniture to exact specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- Exhibit strong organisational skills, self-motivated and ability to work independently, taking initiative to meet deadlines that are set out for each individual task in the playbook.
- Keep a clean work environment throughout the build.
- Collaborate with team members and innovate on how we can build better/faster with less aftersales issues.
Requirements:
- NVQ/Diploma L2 qualification or bench joinery level 2.
- Ability to read CAD drawings and shop drawings.
- Experience in previous Bench joinery roles (minimum 2 years).
- Full UK driving license or be able to get to Morecambe for 8AM.
- Knowledge of using shop machinery (CNC, Edgebander, router and spindle moulder).
- Basic hand and power tools for bench joinery tasks (list will be provided and higher value communal tools to be provided by us).
- CNC design experience desired but not necessary to apply.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail is a must.
