Our client, a successful, highly regarded family-run civil engineering and utility contractor seeks to hire a Customer Support Administrator / Planning Co-ordinator to play a key part in coordinating repair schedules, supporting operational teams, and delivering excellent outcomes for customers.
About the Role
Youll be part of a small, friendly Planning team, responsible for booking and scheduling all customer appointments to investigate and repair water leaks on customer supply pipes. Youll be based at a beautiful rural site near Oxford, working closely with customers, field operatives, and supervisors to keep everything running smoothly.
Your key responsibilities:
- Handling inbound and outbound customer calls
- Scheduling and coordinating investigation and repair appointments
- Raising and updating jobs on the database
- Managing emails and written correspondence
- Supporting the wider planning team with day-to-day coordination
- Gatekeeping and ensuring smooth workflow
About You
Youre someone who thrives in a busy, people-focused role and takes pride in doing things well.
- Strong communication and stakeholder skills
- Planning/scheduling experience (ideally within water/utilities, but not essential)
- An organised, calm, and solution-focused approach
- Confidence using planning or scheduling systems
- Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office & Google Workspace)
- Excellent telephone manner and attention to detail
- Most importantly, youre a team player whos flexible, proactive, and positive.
