About the company:

A well-established firm of solicitors that I have worked with multiple times over the years with excellent feedback from those placed, with a new opportunity for an experienced Legal Cashier to join the firm in a broad role.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain a robust cashiering function, ensuring the accuracy of all payments sent and received.
  • Enhance existing banking and cashiering processes, implementing strong controls where possible.
  • Monitoring daily bank balances and the supervision of the operation of the SRA client money rules.
  • Preparation of reconciliations, reports and ad hoc information as reasonably requested.
  • Assisting with Accounts Payable and Credit Control for the practice where required.
  • Undertake any further work, tasks or projects as reasonably requested by the Finance Manager or Finance Director.

Skills/Qualifications required:

  • Previous experience in a Legal Cashier role.
  • Professional, organised, and have excellent attention to detail.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding organisational skills.
  • Calm and professional, with the ability to work well under pressure.
