Overview of the Role:
We are looking for a Sales Advisor to join our Hemel Hempstead team due to expansion. As a Sales Advisor you will work closely alongside our showroom team to deliver exceptional service to our customers. This role requires a friendly and confident communicator, who thrives in a customer service/sales role. The fast-paced nature of this role requires candidates who are extremely organised and able to prioritise certain tasks, whilst being both pro-active and reactive to the customers’ requirements.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide support to our showroom team, as well as provide excellent customer service whilst guiding the customer throughout the sales process.
- Communicate clearly, confidently, and friendly via phone, email, or in person.
- Offer customers the highest level of support and advice throughout their journey, including technical advice, design advice, and resolving customer queries.
- Answer incoming sales calls.
- Make outbound calls to our customer database.
- Create quotations, process payments, arrange deliveries, and provide outstanding aftersales service.
- Provide advice on suitability, sizing, pricing whilst showcasing a natural flair for interiors.
- Update the CRM system with relevant client information and daily activity.
- Arrange samples to be dispatched.
- Welcome customers to the showroom and build relationships with clients, ensuring a professional and friendly welcome is always received.
- Maintain a clean and tidy showroom.
- Provide drinks to customers during their appointments.
- Confirm showroom appointments with customers prior to their arrival.
Skills & Experience:
Essentials:
- Experience in a sales environment.
- Extremely well organised and able to prioritise tasks.
- Enthusiastic and hands-on – this is a busy, fast-paced company.
- Self-motivated with the ability to inspire those around you.
- Strong customer focus.
- Excellent communicator.
- Minimum of 2 years sales experience.
- Must have experience in using a CRM.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office.
Travel Requirements:
Occasional travel between showroom and other company sites is required. Applicants should be able to commute reliably and hold a full UK driving licence.
