You'll be working across a wide range of leading agricultural machinery, using the latest diagnostic technology alongside your hands-on engineering skills. No two days will be the same – from diagnosing faults using your laptop and specialist equipment to getting hands-on and making sure machinery is back working for the customer. The role As an Agricultural Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for: * Servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of agricultural machinery. * Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults. * Using modern diagnostic equipment and technology. * Carrying out repairs both at customer sites and within the workshop. * Providing a professional and reliable service to customers. * Working closely with the wider dealership team. * Keeping your technical knowledge up to date through ongoing manufacturer training. * Working additional hours during busy and peak periods when required. What we're looking for Ideally, you'll have a relevant qualification or equivalent experience within Land Based Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Plant Engineering or a similar discipline. You'll also have: * Strong mechanical and technical skills. * Experience diagnosing and repairing machinery. * Good communication and people skills. * A professional approach when dealing with customers. * A willingness to learn and develop your technical skills. * The flexibility to work overtime during busy periods. * A genuine interest in agricultural machinery and engineering.
