The Role
As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for programming (offline using CAD/CAM), setting, and operating CNC turning machinery to produce high-quality precision components. You’ll play a key role in ensuring products meet customer specifications while maintaining quality standards and achieving production deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Program CNC turning machines offline using CAD/CAM software.
- Set and operate CNC turning machinery.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Produce components to the highest quality standards.
- Ensure internal production milestones and customer delivery dates are consistently met.
- Identify and resolve machining issues to minimise downtime.
- Work closely with the production team to improve efficiency.
