Your Key Responsibilities: Operate the band saw safely and efficiently, adhering to all health and safety standards. Verify materials and cut plans to ensure precision before cutting. Perform quality checks on cut pieces using measuring instruments. Conduct daily maintenance checks on the saw and assist with housekeeping. Operate fork trucks and jib cranes as required, ensuring productivity sheets are completed daily. What We’re Looking For: Proven experience as a Saw Operator, specifically with band saws. Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to safety protocols. Knowledge of cutting specifications and quality control measures. Ability to lift up to 20kgs and perform manual handling tasks.
