This is the perfect opportunity to join a leading producer of meat products that is looking to expand its Engineering team. You will be joining a family run business that has been operating over two decades, has a huge market share in the industry, and operates with multiple sites across the UK. With a large increase in orders and traffic to site, they are looking to invest in their engineering team heavily and grow.
Job Title: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical or Mechanical Bias)
Location: Eye, Suffolk
Shift: Rotating days and nights every two weeks:
Week 1: Mon/Tue/Fri/Sat/Sun, 8:00 – 8:00
Week 2: Wed/Thu, 8:00 – 8:00
Salary: £46,350 per annum

288 hours of annual leave – circa 24 shifts holiday

Your Responsibilities:
PPM’s and reactive maintenance to ensure minimal downtime
Support with the site’s continuous improvement strategy
Driving efficiency across production machinery
Attending to machinery breakdowns
Electrical and mechanical fault finding
Working with typical components such as sensors, motors, bearings, sprockets, chains etc.
Constantly ensuring work carried out is compliant with H&S regulations
What We’re Looking For:
A fully qualified engineer with a nationally recognised qualification in your discipline (electrical or mechanical).
Proven experience with plant level machinery in a fast paced environment.
Familiarity with engineering and Microsoft software such as Excel etc.
Self motivated and resilient individuals who thrive under pressure.
