Experienced MIG Welders Required – Loughborough

If you’re a MIG Welder who takes pride in clean, accurate work and wants to build a long-term career not just clock shifts, this could be the role for you.

You’ll be working on high-quality sheet metal projects for major customers, using modern equipment in a clean, well‑organised workshop where standards matter and good work is recognised. This is a busy, long‑established manufacturer in Loughborough with around 100 employees and a full order book. They’re known locally for looking after their people, promoting from within, and investing properly in training and progression.

Job Details

  • Location: Loughborough, Leicestershire
  • Hours: Rotating shifts, Monday to Friday
  • Contract Type: Temporary position paid weekly by YourRecruiters Limited.
  • Pay: £15.00 – £16.00 per hour (depending on experience, reviewed after 3 months service)
  • Overtime: Overtime is paid at X1.3 over 37.5 hours and X1.5 for Saturdays and Sundays

What You’ll Be Doing

  • MIG welding sheet metal components to a high standard
  • Setting up and adjusting welding equipment for different materials
  • Reading and working from engineering drawings
  • Carrying out quality checks to ensure strong, consistent welds
  • Supporting grinding and finishing where required

  • Proven MIG welding experience in manufacturing or fabrication
  • Confident reading and working from technical drawings
  • Experience using grinders and finishing tools
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
  • Reliable, adaptable and comfortable working independently or as part of a team
