Temp to Perm Positions – General Operatives Are you confident with hand tools and looking for a role where attention to detail really matters? This is a great opportunity to join a long established and growing engineering business in Northampton. For over 30 years, they’ve been at the forefront of high quality sheet metal fabrication, producing assembled products for customers across the UK and Europe. With a reputation built on quality, investment in new technology, and a loyal, experienced workforce, this is a company where your contribution will be valued and developed. Location: Northampton Hourly Rate: £13/hour or DOE Shift Pattern: Days: Mon–Thu 7:00am–3:30pm & Fri 7:00am–3:00pm Key Responsibilities: Clean, deburr, and finish edges of manufactured components. Operate bead blasting equipment (training provided). Inspect edges and surfaces for defects, reporting any issues. Follow work instructions, drawings, and quality requirements. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area. What We’re Looking For: Experience in manufacturing or finishing (edge cleaning, grinding, deburring, etc.) preferred. Confident with hand tools and basic measuring devices (verniers, callipers). Able to work to quality standards and meet production targets. Awareness of PPE and workplace safety.
