General Operative (Training Provided) - Own Transport Required Due to Location

Location: Flecknoe, Warwickshire (travelling to customer sites across the UK) Pay: £13.00 per hour Job Type: Temporary to Permanent

  • Start times vary depending on the location of the work, with some starts as early as 5:00am, although 7:00am is the standard start time.

The Role

Working as part of a team, you'll travel from the company's depot in Flecknoe to customer sites where you'll be involved in a range of duties including:

  • General labouring and site support
  • Using a variety of hand tools
  • Assisting with installation and maintenance projects
  • Loading and unloading equipment and materials
  • Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment
  • Working outdoors in a variety of locations

Every day is different, and you'll be working alongside experienced colleagues who will provide full support and training.

  • Hours
  • Monday to Friday
  • 37.5 hours per week plus paid travelling time
  • Start times vary depending on the location of the work, with some starts as early as 5:00am, although 7:00am is the standard start time.
  • You'll be required to travel to the company's depot in Flecknoe every morning before heading out to site, therefore your own transport is essential.
  • Additional weekday hours are paid at your standard hourly rate, as these are typically due to travelling to and from customer sites.
  • There may also be occasional overnight stays and weekend working depending on customer requirements, which are paid at enhanced rates:
  • Weekday nights: Time and a half (1.5x)
  • Saturdays: Time and a half (1.5x)
  • Sundays & Bank Holidays: Double time (2x)
