Are you an experienced professional ready to lead from the front and inspire a team of engineers in a fast-paced food manufacturing business? Join a team as an Engineering Shift Manager, where you’ll play an important role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the food production facilities and machinery while driving continuous improvement throughout the factory. Job Title: Engineering Shift Manager Location: Wolverhampton Shift: 4 on 4 off – DAYS ONLY – 5:30am to 5:30pm Salary: £56,000 per annum Benefits: 20 days holiday, company pension scheme, life insurance, 20 days holiday and opportunities for growth and development. Your Responsibilities: Manage and prioritise tasks for the engineering team to maintain optimal production performance. Lead the team of 4-10 engineers from the front – motivating and developing to foster a positive culture of continuous improvement. Implement and improve health and safety procedures – ensuring all adhere to the HACCP and HSE standards. Root cause analysis with the team for downtime – offering and implemented recommendations. What We’re Looking For: Time served / apprentice trained (NVQ / BTEC Level 3) in an Engineering Discipline Continuous improvement experience and the ability to offer lean manufacturing techniques.
