A Day in the Life
Your morning starts with a quick forklift check, then you’re straight into the action. Some orders need wrapping and stacking, others need a final polish of quality checks before heading out the door.
One moment you’ll be shrink wrapping pallets, the next you’ll be updating the booking system, then hopping back on the forklift to load a lorry. There’s heavy lifting involved (always shared, up to 30-35kg), but plenty of variety to keep the day moving. By the time you clock off, you’ll know the goods you’ve handled are heading safely to customers right on time.
What You’ll Be Doing
Safely loading and unloading vehicles with a FLT.
Wrapping, stacking, and preparing goods for dispatch to customer specs.
Checking finishes and ensuring everything leaves site in perfect condition.
Logging dispatches and keeping paperwork accurate in the MIE system.
Lending a hand to other departments when needed.
Keeping the dispatch area tidy, safe, and running smoothly.
What You Need to Succeed
A valid external FLT licence.
Experience in dispatch, warehouse, or goods out.
Comfortable with booking systems and IT basics.
A proactive, team focused mindset with safe manual handling.
Why Choose This Role?
Temp to perm with excellent benefits once permanent.
A clean, modern workplace with valuable kit.
A supportive team where hard work is shared and recognised.
