Project Administrator (Construction) - 6 Month FTC Contract (Initially) to start ASAP.

Location: Harker, Carlisle (CA6) own transport required due to location.

Hours of Work: 40hrs Mon-Fri onsite 8.30am - 5.00pm + occasional weekends.

Salary: £15.00ph - £20.00ph (DOE).

We are recruiting for a Project Administrator to join our team on a 6-month assignment based in Carlisle, Cumbria. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys keeping things organised, supporting a busy site team, and handling a variety of administrative tasks.

What We’re Looking For

  • Essential:
    • Previous experience in an administrative role (ideally site-based)
    • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
    • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
    • Attention to detail and accuracy
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced construction/infrastructure environment
  • Desirable:
    • Experience within the power, utilities, or construction industry
    • Knowledge of site compliance requirements (e.g. National Grid / DNO standards)
    • Experience supporting onboarding and labour coordination
    • Familiarity with document control systems
