Employed part-time Fitness Instructor role combined with a self-employed Personal Trainer licence. This amazing role has been created as part of the ongoing partnership between Greenwich Leisure Limited and Your Personal Training. The role will involve 20 hours a week of work within the employment of Pools On The Park, combined with a Personal Training licence with YPT. This is an amazing development opportunity to work with YPT and their PT Business Coaches, who are at the top of their field. You will work towards becoming a Fully Self Employed Personal Trainer, running your own long term, successful PT business within this fantastic club.
Main Fitness Instructor duties:
- Gym Appointments including inductions and reviews (full training is provided for this)
- The creation of social media content
- Designated studio/gym floor workshops (these are agreed upon and scheduled in advance)
- Gym appointment calls - calling members who are booked into a gym appointment to confirm attendance
- Keeping the gym floor tidy during any downtime
- Outreach at local schools/colleges etc
- Any other reasonable task
The role is completely gym-floor based and focuses on member interaction which is great for building rapport and supports in generating leads for a Personal Training client base.
Person Specification:
- Enthusiastic and personable, who enjoys interacting with the public.
- Able to communicate with and motivate people from a variety of backgrounds.
- Outgoing personality with a positive attitude.
- You must also hold a minimum Level 3 PT qualification.
- OTE income is based upon the individual PT’s performance.
