Run your personal training business from UNTIL Canary Wharf, London. UNTIL Canary Wharf is a premium health and wellness hub in the heart of London's business district, and YOUR Personal Training is recruiting established personal trainers to work from its new flagship site. This opportunity is built for experienced personal trainers with five or more years in the industry, an established client base, and the readiness to run their business fully on their own terms. This is not a traditional gym placement. Personal trainers at UNTIL join as independent members, set their own rates, and keep every pound they earn. No price cap. No shift patterns.
UNTIL operates on a pay-per-use model rather than a fixed monthly licence fee. You pay a flat monthly membership (from £149) which covers facility access, booking infrastructure, compliance support, and the UNTIL practitioner community. On top of that, you book gym floor time as you need it, from £27 per hour. No fixed rent. No long-term commitment. You scale your usage up as your client diary grows.
Your session rate and everything you earn from clients is entirely yours. UNTIL charges a flat access fee for its space and services. Nothing more.
UNTIL requires personal trainers to charge a minimum of £85 per session. That floor exists to ensure the pay-per-hour model works for you long term. At that rate, your membership and room time are covered by a modest number of weekly sessions, and everything above that is yours directly. UNTIL does not cap what you charge and does not restrict how you run your wider business.
The Canary Wharf gym floor is equipped for high-performance personal training:
- Eleiko racks, plates, barbells and dumbbells (1kg to 60kg), with integrated double-side cable machines
- Atlantis and Cybex functional weight machines
- Technogym treadmills, Wattbikes, SkiErgs, Concept2 rowing and Assault bikes
- Kettlebells, medicine balls, TRX and functional training stations
- Pilates studio with Allegro Body Balance Reformer and Tower
- Performance tracking technology: Force Decks, Force Frame, Nordbord and Humantrak
- Recovery suite: Henshaw hyperbaric chamber, Icepod cryotherapy, shockwave therapy and Hyperice recovery tools
UNTIL Canary Wharf is also home to an on-site clinical network of physios, osteopaths, and sports doctors. Cross-referrals between practitioners are a core part of how the community works. Your clients gain access to clinical expertise when they need it, and the referral flow works both ways.
UNTIL Canary Wharf suits personal trainers who are currently working in a premium gym environment, delivering consistent results with a built client base, and are ready to move their business somewhere that matches their level. You are likely the right fit if:
- You hold a Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification (essential); Level 4 preferred for specialisms including S&C, women's health, or lower back
- You have five or more years of consistent, client-facing PT experience
- You have an established client base ready to follow you
- You are charging, or ready to charge, £85 or more per session
- You can commit to a minimum of 20 to 25 client hours at UNTIL per month
- You hold current public liability insurance, and a DBS certificate where required
- You want to work within a clinical, high-performance environment
This opportunity is not suited to newly qualified personal trainers, those building a client base from scratch, or those looking for an employed or salaried PT role. UNTIL is designed for practitioners who already have a business and are ready to grow it on their own terms.
YOUR Personal Training (YPT) is the UK's largest self-employed personal training career platform, with 420+ gym and leisure centre partnerships across the country. This vacancy at UNTIL Canary Wharf is managed by YOUR Personal Training.
Frequently asked questions about personal trainer jobs at UNTIL Canary Wharf:
- Is this a self-employed or employed position? This is a self-employed opportunity. Personal trainers at UNTIL join as independent members and operate their own businesses from the facility.
