Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced individual to provide administrative and organisational support to the Contracts Team.
Job Summary
Provide high‑quality, responsive contracting and income management services to meet the Trust’s clinical and financial objectives, while identifying opportunities to improve value for money.
Main Duties
- Develop, negotiate and agree contracts on behalf of the Trust’s services.
- Proactively monitor and manage contract performance against Trust standards and requirements.
- Collaborate with wider clinical teams to identify contractual and financial opportunities.
- Advise colleagues and stakeholders on contracting processes and best practice.
Responsibilities
- Support Senior Contract Managers in the management and monitoring of contracts.
- Provide contractual support for sign‑off processes, retrieval, and dissemination of contractual documentation.
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts (e.g., Local Authority school contracts, R&D contracts, salary recharge contracts).
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of national tariff.
