A new opportunity has emerged to join Your NRG\’s regional transport team, contributing to the company\’s ongoing success and growth in the liquid fuel distribution sector. Established in 2007, Your NRG is a privately owned liquid fuel distributor, operating from 16 regional depots and ranked as the 4th largest oil distributor in mainland UK.

The vacancy is for a Driver Trainer reporting to the Regional Manager at our Hartlepool depot. The ideal candidate will be looking to advance their career in driver training, playing a crucial role in supporting the regional transport team. The successful candidate will be responsible for training new drivers, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and supporting driver performance and compliance.

£17.00 per hour and £21.25 per hour overtime rate (+ £250 pcm).

Guaranteed 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 08:00 – 17:30, overtime required as and when necessary.

Part office-based and part driving.

The Role Will Involve:

  • Implementation of our Health, Safety & Environment policies
  • New driver onboarding
  • Post-accident and incident investigations
  • Monitoring driver vehicle performance
  • Conducting driver briefings and toolbox talks
  • Ensuring driver working time compliance
  • Performing offsite/unmanned site duties
  • Providing traffic office support, including planning and administration functions
  • Strong planning skills and project management expertise
  • Excellent time and diary management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining compliance
  • Proficiency in IT systems
  • Effective communication and stakeholder collaboration
  • Ability to motivate and engage team members in understanding best practices and compliance with all regulatory and company requirements
  • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant regulatory compliance, law, and safety standards
  • Conflict resolution and team harmony maintenance
  • Proven experience as a driver trainer
  • C+E Licence
  • Full ADR licence
  • PDP and Driver CPC qualifications
  • Experience in multi-drop and bulk liquid fuel distribution
  • Experience in vehicle and personal injury accident investigation
