About us
We are a fast‑growing fintech startup building a next‑generation payments and trade credit platform for B2B wholesalers and merchants. Our solution automates order‑to‑cash workflows, offers flexible payment methods (bank payments, open banking, BACS, etc.) and integrates with existing ERPs so merchants can stop using spreadsheets and manual chasing.
Our platform helps merchants get paid faster and more reliably, boosting cash flow and cutting admin burden.
What we need
We are looking for a Technical Support / Integration Engineer to join our team. The role is 4 days a week in‑office (hybrid working) and works closely with merchants and our engineering team to deliver smooth onboarding, support, and integrations.
Key responsibilities
- Handle support tickets from merchants promptly and professionally
- Diagnose issues using internal tools, trace payment failures, errors, data issues and integrations
- Work closely with merchants to onboard them onto our platform, walk them through setup, ERP integrations, payment flows and configuration
- Support and manage ERP and system integrations, help configure, troubleshoot and maintain integrations
- Liaise directly with merchant IT teams and end users, guide them, answer queries, provide hands‑on walkthroughs
- Take ownership of integration and configuration tasks to reduce load on engineering, escalating only critical issues
- Work across Windows and Linux environments, run scripts, scheduled tasks, use SQL and command‑line tools to debug issues
Must have skills
- Excellent communication and client‑facing skills, clear English, polished and confident when speaking with merchants
- Solid SQL skills, able to query databases and debug data and integration issues independently
- Good understanding of HTTP and networking, comfortable using Postman, cURL or similar tools to inspect and debug network requests
- Familiarity with both Windows and Linux environments, comfortable navigating file systems, scheduling tasks, running scripts
- Bash and/or PowerShell scripting ability or willingness to pick up quickly
- Technical curiosity and comfort digging into systems, running scripts, inspecting logs, working independently through issues
Nice to have skills
- Experience with C# or Python
- Previous ERP integration experience, working with ERPs such as Intact, Merlin, Unleashed, etc.
- Familiarity with e‑commerce platforms or merchant systems, such as Magento or Shopify, or integrations into business systems like mail servers or SharePoint
- Experience managing end‑to‑end integrations in a client‑facing context
Who we are looking for
- A polished, client‑facing engineer, comfortable talking shop with merchants while building rapport and trust and remaining technically competent
- Someone who enjoys digging into systems, solving problems from first principles and taking ownership, not just handing off issues to others
- Self‑motivated and able to work independently, proactively unblocking issues and guiding merchants through setup or troubleshooting
- Someone who wants to grow technically, picking up scripting, integrations, backend systems or more advanced tasks over time
