Full-Time Nanny – Harpenden – Shared Care
Days: Monday–Thursday Hours: 7:30am – 6:30/7:00pm Salary: £16 to £18 gross per hour (depending on experience)

A warm and welcoming family in Harpenden are looking for a fun, experienced, and caring nanny to join them long‑term from September 2026
The Role
The family are looking for a nanny who is warm, playful, and confident caring for three young children with a mix of sole and shared care.
Duties include
- Morning routine – helping with breakfast, getting the children dressed, and off to pre‑school/activities
- Planning fun and engaging activities such as toddler groups, playdates, and outings (the family have a zoo membership)
- Supporting nap and feeding routines, batch cooking and meal prep for the children
- Taking care of nursery duties such as children’s laundry and keeping play areas tidy
- Encouraging a calm and creative atmosphere with crafts, stories, and play
- Keeping parents updated and maintaining open, friendly communication
Qualifications
- At least 3+ years’ experience caring for young children, including babies and toddlers
- Reliable, fun, and nurturing, able to build a strong bond with the children
- Happy to work alongside mum
- Organised and able to help keep family life running smoothly
- Preferred long‑term nanny who can grow with the family
