A warm and friendly family in Amersham are looking for a kind, reliable and nurturing after school nanny to care for their two children on a long-term basis. The family follow a gentle parenting approach, with clear and consistent boundaries, and are looking for someone who will fit naturally into family life.
Hours:
- Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
- 3pm to 6pm
Salary: £17–£20 gross per hour, depending on experience.
The role will include:
- School and nursery pick-ups
- Getting the children settled at home
- Planning fun, age-appropriate activities
- Preparing and serving the children's dinner
- Supporting with the evening routine
- Tidying up after dinner and keeping the children's areas organised
The family are open-minded when it comes to experience and are looking for the right person above all else; someone with genuine childcare experience who is warm, engaging and confident caring for young children. A driver with their own car is essential, as both school and nursery runs are required. The family also have a friendly Cockapoo, so you should be comfortable around dogs.
