Female Presenter: Female, aged 20 to 35
Young and outdoor/sporty looking female presenter Fairly youthful and healthy look to suit the core audience. Engaging, warm, and demonstrating enthusiasm. Have a genuine interest in outdoor pursuits, be comfortable on bikes/scooters, even if no specific experience of how scooters or bikes technically work. We will be asking for self tapes for the role.
Original dates (subject to change due to COVID-19)
Most likely starting in November 2026. 3-5 days per week initially. Exact hrs TBC. Location: Bristol based studio and surrounding area for outdoor filming.
Job payment
£300 per day for 2-week trial, with view to extend into long form (6 month or longer) contract.
Description
CHARACTER/ROLE
We are looking to cast an enthusiastic journalistic presenter-type (based in Bristol or surrounding area) to co-host a YouTube channel for an electric scooter & electric bicycle retailer.
The presenter will be reporting and presenting on a mix of studio based setups, providing the ‘consumer’ language angle alongside the more ‘techie’ male presenter. In addition, the presenter will be providing their opinion on testing new electric scooters, bikes and accessories on cycle lanes or paths – again, this can be based on their own experience and not expected to have any specific technical knowledge.
We don’t expect the chosen presenter to have a great in depth technical knowledge, but a sporty / outdoorsy personality and be able to communicate their opinion to camera, and their experience trialing these products, in their own words, in a bubbly and enthusiastic manner.
