✨Nail the Accent
If you're auditioning for a role that requires a convincing American accent, practice is key! Record yourself speaking and listen back to identify areas for improvement. We recommend watching American films or shows to pick up on nuances in pronunciation and intonation.
✨Know Your Character
Before the interview, take some time to understand the character you’re auditioning for. Research their background, personality traits, and relationships with other characters. This will help you bring authenticity to your performance and show the casting team that you’re invested in the role.
✨Dress the Part
Even if it’s just an audition, dressing appropriately can make a big difference. Choose an outfit that reflects the character you’re portraying. For example, if you’re auditioning for Jack’s Girlfriend, opt for something casual yet stylish that fits her age range. This helps the casting team visualise you in the role.
