Your Medical Services (YMS) is supporting a London NHS Trust with an established hypermobility pathway and is seeking experienced Consultant Rheumatologists to join our clinical team.

Opportunity Highlights

  • Flexible weekend sessions available, with weekday opportunities also under consideration.
  • Patients will include a broad range of hypermobility presentations, including Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS), Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder (HSD), and complex hypermobility cases.
  • Consultants will undertake two clinics per day, seeing approximately 8 patients (4 patients per clinic).
  • Work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team, supporting the reduction of waiting times and improving patient access to specialist rheumatology services.
  • Long-term programme with ongoing sessional opportunities available.

Requirements

  • GMC Specialist Register accreditation in Rheumatology.
  • Current NHS consultant experience managing hypermobility and connective tissue disorder patients.
  • Excellent communication and patient-centred care skills.

Remuneration

  • Competitive day rates.
  • Weekly payment available via PAYE or Ltd Company.
