Removal Man in Belfast

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Removal Man to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the safe and efficient transportation of goods, furniture, and equipment. This role requires a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and manoeuvring items of various sizes. Experience in commercial driving, warehouse operations, or delivery driving is highly desirable. Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload items onto lorries, ensuring secure placement for transit
• Assist in the transportation of furniture, appliances, and other large items to designated locations
• Operate flatbed vehicles and other commercial vehicles in accordance with road safety regulations
• Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues when necessary
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding delivery schedules and special instructions
• Assist with organising warehouse stock and preparing items for removal or delivery
• Ensure all items are handled with care to prevent damage during loading, transit, and unloading
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas before and after jobs

Requirements

• Proven experience in driving commercial vehicles, particularly flatbed lorries or similar transport
• Valid driver\’s licence with a clean driving record
• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in warehouse operations is advantageous
• Mechanical knowledge to assist with basic vehicle maintenance or troubleshooting
• Strong physical fitness for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks
• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Organised approach to managing schedules and ensuring timely deliveries or removals

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: £12.21-£15.00 per hour
