On behalf of a global leading healthcare provider, I am looking for an experienced Workday Systems Manager to take ownership of their Workday platform and lead the team behind it.
You’ll have overall responsibility of a team of 5 and work across HR and Digital and the wider business to deliver a high-performing, future-ready system.
The role is 100% remote based with occasional travel to their London/other sites.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the internal Workday team
- Own and enhance our Workday HCM environment – with a focus on Payroll, Integrations, Learning, Recruitment, Workday Help, and Business Processes
- Drive feature releases, system upgrades, and process improvements
- Ensure smooth operations while delivering strategic enhancements
- Maintain data governance, compliance, and clear documentation
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align system capability with business needs.
Experience/Skills required:
- Solid Workday experience across Core HCM and full platform management
- Strong hands-on experience with integrations – essential
- In-depth UK Payroll knowledge – highly desirable
- Configuration skills across security, business processes, and reporting
- A proven ability to manage and develop a team
- Clear communication and confidence engaging across business and technical teams
- Ability to juggle support, projects, and continuous improvement.
