Are you an experienced structural engineer who has worked on a mix of residential and commercial structural design looking for opportunities in Peterborough?

I am currently looking for a Structural Engineer who can design in steel, concrete and masonry and has worked on UK based projects. Our client works on small to medium scale projects up to the value of around £30 million and with a Chartered Engineer in the office, you will be in good hands and offered support and guidance to become Chartered with IStructE.

For this Structural Engineer role our client is offering a competitive starting salary, a friendly and collaborative work environment and the chance to work from home up to 2 days a week. Additionally, you will be offered flexible lifestyle benefits to suit individual needs.

In order to be considered for this Structural Engineer role you will:

  • Have gained a degree in civil or structural engineering
  • 3-4 years’ experience as a minimum in building structures design
  • Experience using CAD, TEKLA/TEDDS would be beneficial
  • You will have previously worked on UK based projects
  • You will feel comfortable designing in contemporary materials
  • You will work well as part of a small, close knit design team
  • You will have strong communication skills
  • Ideally, you will live within an hour’s commute of the office, but they will also consider candidates relocating
