Our client is an award-winning support services organisation providing key Infrastructure, Construction & Facilities Management support across a large and diverse portfolio of commercial and industrial government assets.
As one of the largest PFI contracts within the UK you will have the opportunity to support the UK Armed Forces over a long-term contract period.
Located from Tidworth, Wiltshire, you will be part of the central business services function leading organisation wide information technology services.
Support the Head of IT in developing and maintaining the IT strategy and deputise when required.
Design, architect and deliver secure and cost-effective technology solutions aligned to business needs.
Manage IT infrastructure, platforms, connectivity and cloud services to ensure availability, performance and security.
Act as project manager and change manager, ensuring best practice delivery and excellent customer experience.
Manage third‑party suppliers and service partners to ensure value, security and contractual compliance.
Responsible for major incident, disaster recovery, vulnerability management and continual service improvement.
ITIL awareness, Microsoft certification, strong technical expertise and project management experience or qualification.
Experience engaging stakeholders in technology change, delivering IT platforms with measurable business benefit, and providing technical delivery and support across infrastructure, service and security.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a customer-focused mindset, strong planning and problem‑solving ability, and be a strong team player, comfortable with motivating and delivering through others
