Then North Northamptonshire Council has a fantastic opportunity for you to join us as our Team Leader for the Crisis & Resilience Fund within the Stronger & Safer Communities Service.

What will you be doing?
This role is to lead on the delivery of an effective service in respect of the Crisis & Resilience Fund (CRF) programme funded by Central Government ensuring adherence to DWP guidance. You will be managing and developing a team of CRF Officers and will ensure training and regular supervision takes place. Working alongside the Stronger Communities (Partnership) Manager, you will look to continually develop and improve the delivery of the programme.
About you
As the successful candidate, you will bring:
- Experience of working in a supervisory position, in a high paced environment
- Experience of managing casework, and taking a person-centred approach
- Excellent organisational skills
- Experience of working with a variety of stakeholders, colleagues and members of the public
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral
- Possess an abundance of drive and determination
It would also be nice for you to have:
- Experience of previous financial support programmes, such as Household Support Fund
- NVQ Level 4 in leadership or equivalent
- Experience of using case management systems and monitoring performance
Special features of the post:
This post requires a satisfactory clearance of a Disclosure and Barring Service disclosure. The full requirements for the Crisis and Resilience Fund Team Leader role are outlined in the attached person specification and will be part of any selection process. Where you will be working:
Your main office base will be in Kettering, as this role is a Fixed Worker Type meaning you will typically work from the office base for up to 5 days a week but may work remotely or from other NNC offices occasionally. The ability to travel across Northamptonshire is essential to this post. There may also be occasions where you will be required to work outside of normal office hours.
