Overview
Our domestic abuse team has recently been awarded DAHA Bronze accreditation. We need a passionate Safeguarding and Domestic Abuse Manager to build on our achievements, lead a dedicated team of Domestic Abuse Coordinators and provide expert advice across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide line management support to Domestic Abuse Coordinators, ensuring high‑quality case management.
- Act as the expert on domestic abuse and safeguarding within the business.
- Support colleagues and external partners with practical safeguarding advice and guidance.
- Lead local authority safeguarding and DHR reviews and represent the organisation in related activities.
Qualifications and Experience
- In‑depth experience of managing a domestic abuse team.
- In‑depth knowledge of safeguarding and experience of advising others.
- Experience of working collaboratively with external agencies to achieve positive results for customers, including experience of managing professional challenges and escalations.
