Your Housing Group have a fabulous opportunity for Housekeeper at Pennington Lodge.
Ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting vulnerable people, to join our highly engaged team and provide a professional and reliable cleaning service.
Pennington Lodge is a homeless family lodge, offering customers temporary accommodation alongside opportunity to make progress in their lives, to build resilience and meet their aspirations.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out a range of high standard cleaning duties to all indoor (offices and communal areas) and outdoor areas of the building, providing a clean and hygienic environment for residents, staff and visitors.
- Ensure our flats provide residents with the highest standards of accommodation, cleaning of vacant flats on scheme, washing of bedding, preparing the flat for new occupants in a timely fashion.
- Act with commitment to the principles of customer care.
- Have an awareness of health and safety including COSHH.
- Be able to work with a minimum of supervision.
- Report any potential Health & Safety concerns.
- Manage own work load.
- Display a strong work ethic & attention to detail.
- Have knowledge of cleaning products & relevant procedures (such as COSHH & PPE).
- Good communication skills.
- Working Week
The hours of work are 16 hours per week between Monday and Friday, excluding weekends and bank holidays.
Salary & Benefits
In return we offer £11,190.40 for a 16-hour week, and up to 25 days (pro‑rata if part time) annual leave (holidays also increase with length of service) plus Bank Holidays.
