Overview

You will be responsible for carrying out repairs and maintenance work to properties owned and managed by Your Housing Group (including our new private rented accommodation - Hive), in a commercially focussed manner, whilst ensuring that a high standard of quality and service is delivered. Responsibilities

  • Carry out painting, decorating, minor plumbing and electrical repairs and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure knowledge of building regulations, health and safety, and maintain a high standard of quality and customer experience.
  • Be prepared to travel as part of the role; a vehicle will be provided to undertake duties.

Qualifications

  • City and Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in building trades.
  • Competent at painting, decorating, minor plumbing and electrical repairs and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of building regulations, health and safety; experience working in occupied domestic properties.
