As a Project Officer, you will play a key role in supporting residents to help them achieve their goals, develop independent living and life skills and build excellent relationships with residents, colleagues and professionals from external agencies.

Ravenhead Foyer is accredited with the Foyer Federation meaning we take an asset-based approach, called Advantaged Thinking, in all the work we do; encouraging young people to aim high, dream big and fulfil their ambitions. We want to recruit a Project Officer as passionate about this as us.

Project Officers work on a 3 week rolling rota:

  • Week A: 8am-4pm
  • Week B: 11am-7pm
  • Week C: 12noon-8pm

The role includes some element of lone working. In addition, there is opportunity in the future for potential hours outside Monday to Friday. Every day is different; you could be delivering 121 support sessions on life skills, reviewing an action plan, supporting a young person to a medical appointment, contributing to a multi-agency meeting or facilitating group activities as part of the learning programme.

First and foremost, you will be providing key worker support to our young people. Working through support and action plans with them, in order for them to develop the life skills necessary to move on and live independently in the community.

What would make me stand out from the crowd?

  • An ability to engage with a range of young people
  • A tenacity in seeking the best outcomes for young people
  • Ideally you will be innovative and creative in your ways of working
  • Resilient and flexible in dealing with others

This role is really suited to someone who likes to manage their own diary and caseload, and enjoys interacting with lots of people on a daily basis.
