Salary: £36,089.55 plus van and fuel, increasing to £37,460.95 following successful probation

So… What is this role exactly?

Due to growth, we now have 2 x additional opportunities for Multi Skilled Joiners to join Your Housing Groups Repairs and Maintenance Division and provide a high‑quality Joinery repairs and replacement service. Working for a Housing Association can be extremely rewarding, and we are lucky to have a hugely collaborative team of operatives, throughout all Trade professions, who work together to ensure that our customers are safe and warm in their homes. In this role as a Multi skilled Joiner, you will be responsible for providing an excellent customer focused service in the Manchester region. We are looking for self‑motivated, problem solvers who take pride in everything they do, with excellent customer service and communication skills.

What will my working week look like?

You will be working a 40‑hour week Monday – Friday arriving at your first job at 8:00am and heading home at 4:30pm, working across the Manchester region. You will also need to be able to attend our Head Office in Birchwood, Warrington for meetings and training courses when needed.

What will I be responsible for doing?

  • Carrying out routine day-to-day Joinery and Plumbing repairs to a high standard in our customers’ homes in the Manchester area.
  • Attending our Head Office in Birchwood, Warrington for meetings and training courses when needed.
  • Ensuring the Customer receives an excellent repair service through excellent communication skills, some knowledge of ICT repairs systems and emails.

And what would make me stand out from the crowd?

  • NVQ Level3 or equivalent recognised qualification(s).
  • Experience or further qualification in additional skilled trades would be hugely beneficial.
  • Health and safety knowledge in a repairs environment.
  • Full UK Driving License (ideally no more than 6 points).
  • Basic DBS check (satisfactory Basic DBS check required).
