This is an exciting opportunity for a Multi Skilled Plasterer to join Your Housing Group’s Repairs and Maintenance Division in the Empty Homes team and provide a high-quality plastering repairs service to our customers. Working for a housing association can be extremely rewarding, and we are lucky to have a hugely collaborative team of operatives across all trade professions who work together to ensure that our customers are safe and warm in their homes.

You will live within your regional area of work and will ideally also be within a reasonable travelling distance of our Head Office in Birchwood, Warrington to attend meetings and training courses when needed.

Responsibilities
  • Provide a quality repairs service to our customers, travelling to designated properties and undertaking all aspects of plastering repair work.
  • Carry out plastering work on maintenance, major and minor construction works for both empty homes and tenanted properties owned by Your Housing Group.
  • Ensure all work undertaken is completed with due regard for quality, productivity, and safety.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Full UK Driving License (ideally no more than 6 points).
  • Experience in patching, skimming, boarding, 2-coat plaster work, internal and external rendering, coving, cornice and insulation.
  • May be required from time to time to undertake minor joinery works, repointing and brickwork associated with plastering work.
  • NVQ Level 3 Trade Qualification or equivalent recognised competency.
  • Basic health and safety knowledge in a repair’s environment.
  • Collaborative team player.

  • Passionate about right-first-time and delivering a quality service.
