Job Overview

As a Compliance & Facilities Agent, you will perform block inspections and ensure properties comply with Health & Safety regulations. Working within your allocated patch you will address hazards, carry out gas and fire risk checks, and maintain accurate records in the Housing Management System.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out block inspections, including fire alarm and emergency lighting testing.
  • Identify and report safety issues, hazards and repairs needed.
  • Implement corrective actions from Fire Risk Assessments.
  • Perform annual gas safety checks and other compliance tasks.
  • Maintain detailed inspection records in the Housing Management System.
  • Communicate with residents and raise any customer queries or concerns.
  • Use the annual Compliance & Facilities Budget to recommend improvements.
  • Attend meetings and training in Bircheswood, Warrington as required.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Self‑motivated, detail oriented and capable of working independently.
  • Experience in lone work, ideally in a similar compliance or facilities role.
  • Basic ICT skills for mobile device and system use.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Team player with flexibility to adjust working days to meet business needs.
  • Professional, positive interaction with customers.
