About the role

You will work with residents of Brunswick Gardens, a Retirement Living Scheme in Woodhouse, Sheffield, organising and delivering activities and events. The role encourages residents to lead their own activities and build links with the wider community.

Working hours

The core hours are Monday‑Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. The working pattern can be flexible and will be agreed with you, provided it meets the needs of residents and the business.

Key responsibilities

  • Work closely with residents to deliver a regular, varied programme of activities and events that is engaging and accessible to all.
  • Ensure activities and events are delivered safely and provide support for residents to attend where needed.
  • Engage with older people in the wider community, promoting the activities at Brunswick Gardens to external groups and the third sector.

  • Ability to work independently and organise your own workload.
