Location: Home based, with weekly attendance at our HQ in Warrington

Weekly Hours: 35 hours per week

So…. What is this role exactly?

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and experienced communicator to manage our small communication and engagement team to lead and deliver our customer and colleague communication plans and programme of colleague engagement. This role sits within the wider Communication, Engagement and Marketing team.

We\’re at a pivotal moment in our journey—and there\’s never been a more exciting time to join our communications team. You\’ll play a key role in shaping how we speak to our customers and colleagues, helping to shift perceptions, build trust, and tell our story in a way that truly resonates.

We are looking for passionate communicators who want to make a real impact.

What will my working week look like?

You will be home based, living within the North West, within a reasonable travelling distance of our Head Office in Warrington, to attend meetings and training, and co-deliver events. Realistically, you will be required to visit our Head Office approximately once a week, sometimes more.

What will I be responsible for doing?

First and foremost, you will be responsible for managing and co-delivering the customer communications plan, and colleague communications and engagement plan.

One of the great things about this role is how varied it is. From workshopping, copy editing, planning and reporting, to content creation, event delivery, and collaborating with key stakeholder across the business, this is a vast and varied role, in a busy, creative and multifaceted team.

To be a successful in this role you will be a natural self-starter who can quickly build rapports with people on all levels, experience in managing similar programmes of work. A strong writer, with excellent attention to detail and creative flair. Open to trying new things and technologies, including AI. And above all, have a real passion for communication and engagement.

Ideally you will also have

  • Experience in a similar role/team
  • Higher qualifications in Communications, Marketing, English or similar
