Working within our friendly and supportive team, you'll help children and young people who stammer, develop the skills, confidence, and independence to thrive. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated S< to join our stammering team. You will deliver therapy programmes and work closely with families, education staff and other professionals, empowering them to support confident, person-centred communication and help children and young people who stammer achieve their goals.

Main Duties:
Our Purpose: We work collaboratively with families, schools and communities to empower children and young people to communicate effectively, participate fully and develop the confidence and independence needed to succeed in life. Come and help us make communication possible, participation achievable, and every child's potential visible.
- Assess, diagnose and provide specialist intervention for children and young people who stammer or are at risk of stammering.
- Work closely with families, education staff and health professionals to support confident, person-centred communication.
- Use evidence-based approaches, including recognised specialist programmes such as Palin Parent-Child Interaction Therapy where appropriate.
- Provide advice, training and clinical support to promote understanding of stammering across the child's environments.
- Monitor outcomes and coordinate care across the service to ensure smooth, effective support for each child or young person.
This is a permanent post and is for 7.5 hours (1 day) per week. You will be based at Hollyfield House.
