Relevant trade skills to carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks. Reliability and flexibility to support the nature of the business. Good communication skills. Must hold a full, clean UK driver's License and be willing and flexible with respect to travel (pool vehicle available for this purpose) and may be required to stay overnight on occasion. Travel between sites may be required (up to a 50-mile radius). Some experience at a professional level will be required in respect of painting and decorating skills. Successful candidates will be subject to a DBS check.

This role will be based at Abbey Court Nursing Home - 200 Kedleston Road, Derby, DE22 1FX.

As part of our maintenance team, you will play a key part in this: We are currently looking for a full time Maintenance Operative to join our dedicated team.
What you will be doing:
- Preventative Maintenance.
- General building repair and maintenance.
- Tiling, plastering, painting, and decorating, basic electrical and plumbing duties.
- Woodwork and carpentry (e.g., replacing door locks; repairing fence panels).
