We are looking for a Care Assistant who can deliver high quality, compassionate care focused on dignity and choice. You should be sympathetic, honest, respectful, and committed to supporting residents.
Location: Redmount Residential Home, Buckfastleigh, Southwest Devon. The home is a 34‑bed residential facility.
Salary: £13.38 per hour.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with care and support of service users under the supervision of a senior in charge.
- Encourage and help promote the quality of life according to needs identified in a service user’s personal care plan.
- Assist service users with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, and eating.
- Assist in the safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of service users.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience not required but welcomed.
- A naturally caring approach and a passion for helping people maintain their dignity, independence and choice.
- A respectful, courteous and compassionate nature with a belief in giving your personal best at all times.
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with residents and fellow colleagues.
- Reliability and flexibility to support the nature of the business.
- Successful candidates will be subject to a DBS check.
