Abbey Court Nursing and Residential Home is looking for an Activities Co-ordinator.
Hourly Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: 5 Days Per Week – 10am to 3pm, 25 hours per week. Some weekend work will be required.

About the role:
We are currently looking for an Activities Co-ordinator with a natural caring nature to join our team. Our aim is to provide the highest standard of care in a relaxed, friendly environment. Residents are able to enjoy the freedom and lifestyle of their choice, while receiving appropriate care built on dignity and respect.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the activities provision in the home, ensuring that all residents are equally involved in different activities.
- Build relationships and support residents, helping to maintain their dignity and individuality through activities and group activities and one-to-one at a time.
- Plan and implement person‑centred creative activities appropriate to residents’ needs and requests.
- Be in charge of fundraising for the residents’ fund.
What you will bring:
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with residents and fellow colleagues.
- Reliability and flexibility to support the nature of the business.
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
Eligibility and Checks:
Successful candidates will be subject to a DBS check.
