Your Education Professionals are looking for dedicated, flexible Teaching Assistants to support our Rotherham based academies. This role offers a brilliant chance to work across a range of specialist settings - from early years to further education - while choosing shifts that suit your lifestyle. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with a range of needs (including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, and Speech & Language needs)
- Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
- Help pupils to develop confidence, independence, and social skills
- Implement behaviour support strategies and promote positive learning
- Build strong, supportive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
- Contribute to an inclusive and engaging classroom environment
Ideal candidates will be:
- Caring, patient, and committed to supporting young people
- Adaptable, confident working in different school environments and age ranges
- Interested in or willing to learn about SEND
- Holders of a Level 2 or 3 TA qualification (preferred but not essential)
- Experience in alternative provision, care settings or supporting those with additional needs is highly beneficial.
